Brow Aftercare
Brow aftercare
Permanent makeup brows generally lasts between 2-3 years, but like many procedures, there are a few factors that will prolong or shorten the expected durability. Blade & Feather recommends the following at home care instructions for 7-10 days after the procedure to improve and prolong the results.

Wash twice a day
Wash your eyebrows in the morning and night with soap provided at appointment, then apply a thin coat of the aftercare balm, also provided.
Sweat less
Refrain from excessive sweating for the first 7 days.
No picking
Your eyebrows may start flaking. Do not pick them, let them peel naturally.
No make-up
Do not apply make-up directly onto your eyebrows during the healing process.
No submerging
Besides washing your eyebrows, avoid submerging them during the healing process.
No scratching
If your eyebrows begin to itch, do not scratch them, tap them to release the itch.
Aftercare balm
You will be instructed to apply your balm morning and night after you wash your eyebrows while healing
No sun
Avoid excess sun exposure as this can cause the pigment to fade and can affect healing.
No skincare products
Avoid using daily skincare products directly on your eyebrows while healing.
Inform your esthetician
If you are planning a chemical peel or any other medical procedure, please inform your esthetician that you had microblading or machine brows done to your eyebrows.
14 days later
14 days after your appointment, you may begin applying sunscreen to your eyebrows daily to help with longevity.
